ISLAMABAD: Riphah Healthcare Services has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Medical Park Group Turkey to gain access to Pakistani to the top Turkish hospitals and doctors.
The signing ceremony of the MoU was attended by various celebrities, including the Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, Ibrahim Mustafa, Major General Mohsin Mohammad, IG hospitals, medical directorates, Prof Dr Anis Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor Riphah International University, Dr Hakan Ucar (cardiologist, medical park Turkey) and me. Sema Gun, head of business development, medical park turkey, dr. Nausheen Hamid, parliamentary division for the Ministry of National Health Services.
Dr Nausheen Hamid as chief guest appreciates the efforts of Riphah Healthcare Services and Medical Park by mentioning that the private sector of both countries is following in the footsteps of governments by establishing joint ventures.
She added that the relationship between Medical Park Turkey and Riphah would definitely open new horizons for improving the healthcare system in the country. She said that the purpose of the MOU is to facilitate the transformation of the Health Care Quality System in Pakistan. Apart from this, the two institutions have agreed to launch medical and paramedical resource exchange programs, collaborative research in healthcare systems and Pakistani access to the top Turkish hospitals and doctors.
Riphah Healthcare Services has also launched an e-health system where Pakistani and Turkish doctors will be available for teleconsultations and examinations.
Hassan Muhammad Khan, Managing Trustee, IIMCT & RHS informed audiences that the alliance between Riphah and Medical Park will also launch the research initiatives, faculty exchange programs, learning and training programs.

Finally, the Turkish Ambassador and the representatives of Medical Park praised the efforts of the Pakistani counterpart for such warm hospitality during their stay in Pakistan, and they were very interested in cooperating with the Riphah Healthcare Services and the Riphah International University.
