Algeria on Friday strongly condemned the serious violations suffered by Palestinians at dawn in the Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Israeli occupation forces, calling on the international community to intervene to stop these repeated violations.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Algeria strongly condemns the serious attacks against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinians praying there by the Israeli occupation forces, in violation of the sanctity  of the mosque.

    The same source stressed the need to provide full protection to Muslim worshippers and allow them to perform their religious rites in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as an Islamic stop for Muslims

    Algeria called for the intervention of the international community, especially the Security Council, and noted the tasks associated with it and an end to these aggressive provocations, while providing the protection of the Palestinian people and their holy places, the statement said.

     In conclusion, the statement reiterated the need to launch a serious peace process, leading to a comprehensive, complete and just peace in the Middle East, israel's withdrawal from all occupied Arab territories and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
