Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Dönmez stated that it was proved that the electricity was not cut off in the house that CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu visited on April 23:
Dönmez shared an information on his Twitter account that Kılıçdaroğlu's claim that the electricity in the house he visited has been cut off for 4 months is not true.
Dönmez, who included information on the electricity consumption of the subscriber in question, used the following statements:
"Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu, it seems that you do not know that electricity meters are now smart and that the subscriber's consumption amount and cut-off information are stored in their memory as date-time. Because if you knew these, you could not make those claims. You wanted proof, here is the proof. Since you did not take the action, who turned off the electricity during your visiting hours? According to the data obtained from the subscriber's meter in question, the energy of the subscriber has not been cut for 4 months, there is daily electricity consumption in the past, as well as on Saturday, April 23, when you visited.
On the other hand, in the statement shared on the Twitter account of the Ministry, it was reminded that smart meters keep electricity consumption and interruption information in their memory.
On the same context, it was stated that the consumption information of the said subscriber's meter was determined and recorded by the relevant distribution company upon the request of the Ministry.
