Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a fee prohibiting the use of means to protect information security in Russia originating from unfriend countries.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree prohibiting the use of means to "protect information security in Russia originating from unfriendly countries" and "send information about their clients and transactions to the competent authorities of these countries, which impose sanctions on Russia, its citizens or its organizations."
The decree stated that "in order to enhance the stability and security of the management of information sources in the Russian Federation, institutions are prohibited from using means to protect information security originating from States that commit hostilities against the Russian Federation and its legal entities and individuals, or are produced by institutions under their legal jurisdiction or directly or indirectly under their control".
